Product Review: NEW!! Weight Watchers® Smart Ones™ Oatmeal and a Giveaway!

Have you seen these in your grocer's freezer?

If you do, snatch them up...because they ROCK!  Weight Watchers ® recently released an exciting new product to their frozen food line-up:  Oatmeal!  This is not your ordinary oatmeal!  It's steel cut oats that come in a convenient 2 pack and is topped with real fruit pieces (YES! REAL FRUIT PEOPLE!!) and granola and it is DEEEEE licious!  It's available in three lip-smacking flavors:  Peaches & Cream, Apples & Cinnamon, and Maple & Brown Sugar.  The people at WW were gracious enough to send me some coupons to sample this oatmeal for myself a few weeks ago.  (Disclaimer:  I was not paid to endorse or write a review for this product.  The opinions expressed are entirely mine.)

We all know how important it is to eat breakfast, but that doesn't mean we always have enough time to get a good one in on a busy weekday morning.  I know I struggle with this fairly often.  Well, Weight Watcher's® Smart Ones™ Oatmeal is a product that can help make sure you eat a good breakfast, even when time is short.

I've sampled all three varieties and I think they are all delicious, but my favorite flavor was Peaches & Cream.

This is what one heat and serve container of Weight Watcher's® Peaches & Cream Oatmeal looks like straight out of the freezer. (See??  I told you there were REAL pieces of fruit in there!)

After about 2 minutes in the microwave and a little stirring, you have a yummy, satisfying breakfast anyone can squeeze into their morning routine!

One of the things that impressed me most about this oatmeal (well, besides the awesome taste and real fruit) was the texture.  I tell you, I am not a huge fan of mushy oatmeal...if you want to make me happy, give it some chew and bite.  And you know what?  This oatmeal delivers!

Weight Watchers® Smart Ones™ Peaches & Cream oatmeal comes in at 170 calories a serving, with 2.5g fat, 4 g fiber, and 5g of protein which translates to 4 PP per cup!

With steel cut oats and real fruit, NEW Smart Ones™ Oatmeal is a great way to begin your day and may be the inspiration for all kinds of smart beginnings. 1. Yes, I saw these in the Smart Ones section at the grocery the last time I was there and I bought one box (now, I'm not even sure which it was but I think the Maple & Brown Sugar). I am surprised that the Peaches & Cream were your favorite as it was the flavor that least appealed to me.

At any rate, your post reminded me that the box is in my freezer. It is WAY hot here (triple digits) and hot oatmeal isn't on my mind but as soon as it cools down.

    1. Really? I love the real peaches in the oatmeal. I've even taken fresh ripe peaches and put them in my oatmeal in the psst, but this is way easier! Hope it cools down for you. We've got a hot one planned for tomorrow, then it's going down into the lower 60's.
