Did you know that tomorrow is the beginning of the Chinese New Year?

It's a huge celebration day for China and several other Asian countries!  In order to celebrate the arrival of the "Year of the Horse", I made a batch of these Coconut Almond Cookies.  Mmmmm.

Italian Sub French Bread Pizza

I picked up some 12" french sub rolls the other day on the cheap!  They were from a local bakery that sells "Oops!" packages of their breads in several of my area grocery stores. ( I am never quite sure what imperfection keeps the product from selling at it's normal retail price, but this particular package looked darn near perfect!) They are marked down from the original prices.  I got four 12" rolls for $1.79!  Wow!

I have to confess...I am really NOT much of a football fan, although I hear we are down to the final four teams for the Big Game. 

It's because I'm not much of a football fan, when the Big Game rolls along this time of year, I don't get too excited.  That is...until I think about the food!!!  Football food.  I AM a HUGE fan of football food!
