I've been busy this summer, re-making and photographing some of my favorite older blog posts. Sometimes I've discovered a better way to make something or a new flavor combination or maybe the original post just needed the photos to be a better representation of the recipe.  With this recipe, it was a combination of two reasons: updated photos and a new flavor combination.

I love this recipe because it really does not get any easier.  You can have a warm and satisfying dessert or snack on your table in no time.  The original recipe called for just using preaches but you can use just about any fruit you have on hand.  Think of all the possibilities for flavor combinations!

I hope you find some time to make this super easy recipe! While I am really enjoying these Blueberry-Peach Cobbler Muffins because both fruits are IN SEASON and wonderful right now, I'd love to hear what flavor combinations you'd put together in this recipe!

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 to 1 cup low-fat buttermilk
