Summer may be winding down, but there are still plenty of warm days ahead to enjoy! This time of year, I love to get outside and enjoy what's left because I know it won't be long before I'm stuck inside again.  I don't want to spend hours in the kitchen cooking meals. The name of the game for me is quick and easy from morning until night. That's where this flavorful, quick and easy Grilled Ham, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich comes in. Made with the goodness of brands you will always find in my fridge and pantry; Hillshire Farm® Thin Sliced Honey Ham, Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse® Oatmeal Bread, and Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise this sandwich is a real crowd-pleaser!

"Brinner" it's what's for dinner!

This sandwich not only makes a great breakfast option, but it's also a quick and easy way to put dinner on the table!  Pair it with a green salad for a dinner option everyone will love.  I serve this sandwich at least once every couple of weeks, to make things easy in the kitchen. I love that I don't have to turn an oven on and heat up the kitchen and clean-up is a snap too, because I only use one pan for the entire recipe.

I start off this recipe by chopping up 4 oz. of Hillshire Farm® Thin Sliced Honey Ham. Why Hillshire Farm® Thin Sliced Honey Ham? Because I love that it is sliced extra thin and double sealed for freshness.  It also has such great flavor from being slow roasted. It's real meat...no by-products or artificial flavors! It's my favorite pre-packaged luncheon meat product.

Once the Hillshire Farm® Thin Sliced Honey Ham is prepped, I whip together three eggs with a little milk and some salt and pepper. Then I add the chopped Hillshire Farm® Thin Sliced Honey Ham to the egg mixture.

The Hillshire Farm® Thin Sliced Honey Ham and eggs take no time to cook up.  Once they are done, I remove them to a bowl, and wipe out the skillet with a paper towel. Then I begin to assemble the sandwiches.  I like to use Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise on the bread instead of butter when I grill these sandwiches.  Not only does it spread easier than butter, but it toasts the bread to a beautiful, crisp golden finish! I love the way the bottle squeezes out a precise amount of mayonnaise for my sandwich, too. Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise is always in my fridge. It's America's number one choice for mayonnaise because it's made from real, simple ingredients like cage-free eggs, oil and vinegar...and let's face it, it tastes AH-mazing!

TIP: For extra flavor, spread Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise on BOTH SIDES of the bread when making this recipe!

My bread of choice for this sandwich is Farmhouse Oatmeal. It's perfect here because it's slow baked, hearty, and crafted from a small batch recipe with an oven-fresh taste.  And because it's so hearty, it stands up to the Hillshire Farm® Thin Sliced Honey Ham and egg filling perfectly. This is really important for a sandwich like this!  I love the delicious sweetness the Farmhouse Oatmeal bread gives this sandwich, but really, any of the Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse™, double-wrapped for freshness, bread varieties would work well here.

Now I know you want to reach right in the screen and take a bite, don't you?  This is really such an easy sandwich to make with only 6-ingredients, it can be on your table in about 20 minutes!  How's that for fast food?

  2. Not good for me at all! It was too hard to put together and especially to turn a big sandwich like this in a pan....it fell apart even with all the right tools

    2. Try putting it on low heat and letting the cheese melt slowly allowing for everything to come together. That’s what works for me
